This afternoon there will be a beta opening of a brand new mud from Iron Realms called Midkemia Online. The game is based on the world created by Raymond E. Feist. While I have never read the novels I’m very excited to begin playing this new game.

Midkemia will be the third IRE game that I have had the pleasure of watching from their opening (Imperian and Lusternia being the other two). I am hoping to begin anew, so to speak, with Midkemia. Unlike the other two I have had very limited exposure to the backstories and happenings that are found in the forums and on the game sites before the game is opened to the public. This will allow me to begin from as novice a perspective as I can possibly get.

So, today at 4 p.m. I will be here at the computer ready to play. Woot woot.
